The Little School was the unofficial name for Alexander’s school for children, which ran first at Ashley Place and later at Penhill. Although Whittaker did not teach at the school, she helped on occasion. She was associated with the school from the age of 17 until she finished her training in 1934. Recorded in June 2000.
