Poise is an independent journal of the Alexander Technique, covering almost all aspects of the Technique.

The aim is to reach an international audience and all levels of experience: pupils, students and teachers irrespective of teaching style, training background and society affiliation.

Poise aims to publish substantial and well-written articles on the F. M. Alexander Technique and its history; reviews; poetry; art-work; shorter, miscellaneous  pieces; plus previously published material that is hard to obtain.  Responses to earlier pieces are welcomed.

Poise will also publish the prizewinning articles of the The Mouritz Award for Writing on the Alexander Technique.

Poise is an open access journal: it is free to read and download articles. New content is made available as soon as it is accepted and ready.
