Elisabeth Walker (1914-2013) was a pioneer teacher of the AlexanderTechnique and her memoirs spans 95 years of her life. She trained as ateacher of the Alexander Technique in 1938, qualifying in 1947 togetherwith her husband, Dick. Her memoirs cover her family's 12-year sojournin South Africa, their many travels in Europe, especially mountaineeringand the outdoor life. She describes Alexander's training course, teaching the Technique, running a teachers' training course in Oxford for fifteen years, and giving workshop and master classes to teachers of the Alexander Technique in many countries around the world.
